Please sponsor my mom for the walk she did today

My mom received a kidney five years ago. A month later she walked for the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America in Walk the Walk. Please donate online if you can. My mom is alive because of the kidney she received. http://ny.kidneywalkthewalk.org/sponsor/happybirthdaysara

NaBloPoMo 2010

National Blog Posting MonthNovember is National Blog Posting Month for the people who can’t commit to writing a 50,000 word novel in National Novel Writing Month – NaNoWriMo.

As a way to get back into some creative activity will be posting throughout November.

Going to some great gigs so those will feature and hoping to write some long-form posts as well.

The Deadly Gentlemen – Free Download!

Just saw Crooked Still at Old Gateshead Town Hall. They were as awesome as last time. So talented at their instruments and Aoife O’Donovan has a beautiful voice.

Greg Liszt mentioned that the new CD for his side project The Deadly Gentlemen is available for free download from their bandcamp site up until the official release. I’m really enjoying it. Try it below.

For video of The Deadly Gentlemen gig from January see Gregory Liszt’s Deadly Gentlemen at the Cluny2 in Newcastle

On a completely unrelated note the Old Town Hall sells yummy pirate and parrot cookies.  Still waiting for someone in Middlesbrough to open a bakery that sells Capt. Cook – ies.
